President Ranil Wickramasinghe has sent a special letter to all members of parliament requesting them to unite for an all-party government.

In that letter, President Ranil Wickramasinghe has pointed out that the government is making a great effort to gradually restore the political and social anarchy created in the country along with the economic crisis being faced by the country at present.

President Ranil Wickramasinghe also emphasized that in order to overcome the challenges faced by the country, a program should be implemented with the participation of all political parties, scholars and civil organizations represented in the Parliament.

The President also pointed out that the intention of the people at this moment is that all their representatives in the Parliament will work to find solutions to the country's economic and social crises through a common program.

Accordingly, President Ranil Wickramasinghe said that he expects to build a public dialogue on the next steps to fulfill the national responsibility and requested all the members of parliament to extend their consent as well as the political parties they represent.
