The IMF Director had a discussion with the President

The International Monetary Fund’s Director for Asia and Pacific , Changyong Rhee met President, Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Tuesday (15) at the President’s Office. The rest of the participants were representatives from the International Monetary Fund as well as the Sri Lankan Government.

Director, Changyong Rhee is the Overseer of the operations of the funding, lending and bilateral and multilateral surveillance of economies by the IMF in a range of countries including India, Pacific Islands, China and Japan.

Deputy Director of the Asia Pacific Department of the IMF, Anne-Marie Gulde and the IMFs Resident Representative for Sri Lanka, Dr. Tubagus Feridhanusetyawan also participated at the discussion.
