The Buddhist battle against the SJB Born Again regime begins

A great internal dispute has emerged between the "Born Again" Christian regime and Sinhala Buddhist leaders of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya as a result of the conflict in opinions among the two groups.

It is Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa, his wife Jalani Premadasa, Colombo District MP Dr. Harsha De Silva and National List MP Eran Wickramaratne who act as internal activists of "Born Again" Christian regime in Samagi Jana Balawegaya party.

All Sinhala-Buddhist leaders of the party, including Patali Champika Ranawaka, who are deeply frustrated and helpless due to this situation, are fighting against it, accusing that the Samagi Jana Balawegya is being completely led by 'Born Again' Christian regime.

This situation within the Samagi Jana Balawegaya and the party's religious, social, political and cultural agenda was first revealed to the whole country by "lankanewsweek" on 01.08.2020 under the headline "Samagi Balawegaya is maintained by “Born Again Money".

The Maha Sanga alleges that all facts and evidence to confirm that Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa, Samagi Jana Balawegaya, led by him and his general election campaign was funded by the money of the fundamentalist "Born Again" Christian regime.

Speaking to "lankanewsweek" the Chief Incumbent of the Sedawatta Purana Raja Maha Viharaya in Colombo and the National Organizer of the United National Bhikku Front Ven. Ambanwala Gnanaloka Thero stated further

It must be said that all the facts have now come to light with evidence that Sajith Premadasa and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, led by him and his election campaign were maintained with the money of the fundamentalist "Born Again" Christian regime.

Sajith Premadasa's wife, Jalani Premadasa, is a worshiper of Born Again Christian religion and regularly visits the People's Church-Assembly of God in Narahenpita, Colombo.

The founder of this Church is Eran Wickramaratne's father and Eran Wickramaratne who is staunch "Born Again" Christian once served as the Chief Pastor of the Church. 's pastor. He still attends the Church for his worship and also represents the Church's governing body.

It is Ms. Jalani Premadasa and Mr. Eran Wickramaratne, ardent Born Again devotees who are coordinating all funding activities between the Samagi Jana Balawegaya led by Sajith Premadasa and "Born Again" Christianity.

Representing the National List of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, Mr. Wickremaratne was sent to Parliament from the national list, since his representation in Parliament was a definite requirement of the "Born Again" Christian regime.

The real Sinhala Budhists should realized this terrible and dangerous situation who must decide whether the Samagi Jana Balawegaya led by Sajith Premadasa, who has become a maul of “Born Again" Christianity, will work for the rights, protection and interests of the  Sinhala-Buddhists.  

Meanwhile, senior and eminent Professor Nalin De Silva, the founder of the Chinthana Parshdaya , who has been working for national opinion throughout  his life, testified with facts and evidence that Sajith Premadasa and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya are the agents of the "Born Again" Christian regime and Sajith Premadasa split the UNP due to the influence of that regime.

Meanwhile, Ven. Bopitiye Dhammissara Nayaka Thera, the Chief Sangha Leader of the Malwathu Chapter of the Siyam Maha Nikaya of Kalutara District who has confirmed all this facts , is questioning as to how Sajith Premadasa, who has no business or livelihood, lives and spent Tens of millions of rupees on the Samagi Jana Balawegaya election campaign.

Ven. Bopitiye Dhammissara Nayaka Thero also stressed that Sajith Premadasa should reveal to the majority Sinhala Buddhist how he had paid Tens of millions of rupees in debt for the Presidential election campaign, who gave him another Tens of millions of rupees to spend for the campaign, on what basis and with what intention
