Presidential candidate of the United National Party Sajith Premadasa has decided to hand over the total responsibility and powers of ensuring the National Security of the country to Sarath Fonseka under his Presidency.

Sajith Premadasa has taken this decision on a request of the leaders of the United National Party including Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe and declared this decision officially at the inaugural meeting of his Presidential Election Campaign held at Galle Face on Thursday (10) under the cheering of the participants.

Accordingly Mr. Sarath Fonseka is supposed to be appointed as the Minister of National Security, Law and Order after Sajith Premadasa becoming the President. Mr. Sarath Fonseka has already initiated plans to up root the International Terrorism that the country is facing right now as he defeated the internal brutal LTTE Terrorism.

Mr. Sarath Fonseka has planned to restructure the State Intelligence Unite to come to the level of globally recognized Intelligence Services such as “CIA” of America, “RAW” of India and “ FSB” of Russia. He has made arrangements to uplift all the Intelligence Unites of Three forces and Police in line with this plan while keeping them on attention.

Sarath Fonseka who had already stated discussions with National and International Security Experts on National Security, Law and Order on modern trends also initiated a discussion with responsible Officers attached to Three forces and Police.

Along with Presidential candidate of the United National Party Sajith Premadasa’s arrangements to appoint Sarath Fonseka as the Minister of National Security , Law and Order, the Maha Sanga had pointed out that they bless Sajith Premadasa and Sarath Fonseka emphasizing that the fear of National Security had faded off.
