Political analysts say that a recent Facebook post by Sri Lanka’s Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation, K.D. Lal Kantha, appears to be a direct political response aimed at Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) General Secretary Tilvin Silva.

Minister Lal Kantha emphasized that Sri Lanka operates through a formal institutional framework when governing and making key decisions. He firmly stated that the government would not function according to the wishes of individuals or personal opinions.
