Can the IMF increase electricity bills as it wants..?

MP Ravi Karunanayake had called a press conference in Colombo today

The IMF does not have the capacity to increase the electricity bill. The government should be aware of it before they submit those recommendations. I questioned this in Parliament in advance. But the government was not able to give proper answers. Even though the IMF has made recommendations, we should develop a process to implement them. I mentioned that importing vehicles could be a problem for the reserves. Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe brought the economy to a good level and he should be given credit for that.

We are contesting the local government elections from the United National Party. One or two demons are sitting and controlling the party. They will not let us come close. Everyone should come together and go on a journey.
