Threatening phone call from an anonymous person 

An intelligence Chief has sought information about "Lankanewsweek"

An anonymous caller has threatened that the "lankanewsweek" website and its Editor-in-Chief, Sujith Mangala De Silva, are under vigilance.

The caller contacting "lankanewsweek" Editor-in-Chief Sujith Mangala De Silva over his mobile of 0716116661 from the land phone, 0112619834has threatened to be careful over the activities of “lankanewsweek” since it is under vigilance.

When the Editor-in-Chief, Sujith Mangala De Silva has asked from the caller to confirm his identity and whether this notification is a threat, his response was “you will get answers to your questions in the future”

In addition, the "lankanewsweek" website was "hacked" by a "Cyber" attack due to which the website was down for three days about a month ago. In addition, intelligence sources confirmed to "lankanewsweek" that a Chief of the country's Intelligence Unit had asked from an intelligence officer under him for information about "lankanewsweek" and it’s Editor.

Moreover, a young and powerful politician, who was antagonized over  a revelation made by "lankanewsweek" has warned the Editor of "lankanewsweek" through "WhatsApp" and said that the return will definitely be given in relation to that incident.
