The New Sihala Urumaya alleges that the leaders of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna , including the Anura Kumara Dissanayake, can be described as  extortionists and thieves carrying buffalos for slaughtering while displaying the signboard ‘May you get the blessings of Lord Buddha” in front of the lorry.

Leader of the New Sihala Urumaya, Sarath Manamendra speaking to “lankanewsweek” told that the JVP and its leaders, who play the role of " Ra Daniel – Dawal Migel” are practicing hypocrisy.

It should be clearly stated that the political practices of the leaders of the JVP, including Anura Kumara Dissanayake, can be compared to a lorry carrying buffalos for slaughtering with the signboard “Budu Saranai" in front of it. The JVP which plays the role of “Ra Daniel Dawal Migel” are so hypocritical and opportunistic.

The leaders of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna including Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who send their children to private universities in foreign countries and to private institutions of higher learning in our own country, are fighting against private universities in our country, including private medical colleges, and sabotaging those projects while depriving the higher education opportunities to the children of our country.

Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake should reveal to the nation under whose sponsorship his son is being educated at a private university in a developed capitalist country or how he got the money for it.

None of the children of Anura Kumara Dissanayake and other JVP leaders have degrees from a government university in Sri Lanka. As the New Sihala Urumaya, we challenge the leaders of the party to prove to the people of the country if there are any degrees that their children have obtained from such government universities in Sri Lanka. All these children have degrees from private universities in foreign countries and from higher education institutions in our country.

The role of the "Ra Daniel Dawal Migel", hypocrisy, bigotry and opportunism of the JVP are well demonstrated in this situation. This situation shows that the leaders of the JVP are engaged in high and quality consumption within a capitalist socialist system while the people, including their own party members, are being trapped in proletarian socialism.

Who gives money to the JVP and its leaders to engage in such high and high quality consumption..? How do they raise these funds? It must be said that they are really making this money by extorting the rich.

We are asking to carry out an audit on their wealth and a broad investigation on the sources of raising funds since we know this reality. Did you know that notorious businessmen such as Dhammika Perera, Nimal Perera and Malik Samarawickrema give money to the JVP as ransom or aid or donations?
