CID Head resigns

Director of the Police Criminal Investigation Division, Senior Superintendent of Police, W Tilakaratne has decided to resign from the position.
Writing a special letter to the Inspector General of Police he has requested to give him some other assignment in the Police Department.
The internal sources revealed that he has stated in the letter addressed to the Inspector General of Police that he is being severely pressured while working in the Criminal Investigations Division.
