President of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, President's Counsel, and Saliya Peiris has called for the formation of an Interim National Government with 15 Ministers representing all political parties as an urgent step to rescue the country from the current crisis.
He further stressed that everyone from the President onwards should realize the seriousness of the situation prevailing in the country and make some sacrifice for the country at this time and this is a time for all political parties to work together.
President's Counsel, Saliya Peiris made these observations at a press conference held Tuesday (03) after presenting the 13 points proposal, submitted by the Bar Association of Sri Lanka as a solution to the economic and political crisis in the country to the two Chief Incumbents of the Malwathu Asgiriya Maha Viharaya.
