Vladimir Putin to undergo a surgery

According to unconfirmed sources from the New York Post, Russian President Vladimir Putin has temporarily handed over his power to Secretary of Defense Nikolai Patrushev, probably to undergo a surgery for cancer.  

The New York Post reports citing a Telegram channel run by a former Russian Lieutenant General attached to Foreign Intelligence Services that Doctors have advised Putin that he needs to undergo a surgery,

It is reported that the expected surgery and the recovery time will make Putin inactive for some time.  The New York Post quoting a telegram post highlighted that a few days ago, Putin had a two - hour emotional conversation with Nikolai Patrushev where President Putin had agreed to hand over the real control of the country to Nikolai Patrushev temporarily if his health condition turns worse.
