A group of youths from the Youth Front revealed to “lankanewsweek” that a conspiracy is being organized internally in the United National Party to oust Chairwoman of “ Eksath Lakwanitha Peramuna” ,Shanthini Kongahage which is an associated organization of the UNP.

They pointed out that Ranil Wickremasinghe is in an effort to appoint Erandi Range Bandara as the new Chairwoman of the Eksath Lakwanitha Peramuna, who is the  daughter of UNP General Secretary, Palitha Range Bandara, on his requirement.

The youth who pointed out that Shanthini Kongahage is a woman who has always been a staunch supporter of the UNP and its leader Ranil Wickremesinghe whenever the UNP faced political crises, also stated that the UNP will not have a political future at the face of destroying front liners and politically strong figures.
