Former Captain of Indian National Cricket Team Kapila Deve had undergone a heart surgery in Delhi Hospital after developing a chest pain on 23rd recently.
Kapil Dev, 61, captained Indian cricket team which won the 1983 World Cup. Kapil Dev, a middle-order batsman and fast bowler, has taken 434 wickets in Tests and 253 in ODIs. He has scored 5248 Test runs and 3783 ODI runs in batting.
