Another Madrasa School where Saharan had conducted trainings

A Sub Inspector, attached to the Police Unit of the Presidential Commission to inquire into the Easter Sunday attack giving evidence stated that Saharan Hasheem had given weapon training to the selected students of Madrasa School at Wanathawillu while teaching Islamic extremism.

He gave evidence, led by an Attorney at Law, attached to the Attorney General’s  Department at the Commission, headed by Justice Mr. Janak De Silva.  

When questioned by the Commission whether his Unit had investigated about the palaces where Saharan had conducted such trainings and workshops, he stated that they have investigated at Wanathawillu All Subariya Madrasa School.

“These trainings and workshops had been conducted from 2015 to 2019” he stated answering the question as to how long these trainings were carried out.
