Please reconsider to fund WHO

Ranil requested from Trump

Former Prime Minister and the leader of the United National Party Ranil Wickremasinghe has made a written request to US President Donald Trump to reconsider of his decision to stop funding World Health Organization.

President Trump took this decision for allege negligence of WHO to take timely action on the spread of corona virus when it hit China initially.

Favoring China, WHO officials did not give much publicity and pay due concern until it became a global outbreak, alleged Trump.     

He further stated that World Health Organization should take this matter seriously and conduct investigations over the allegations made by President Trump over the responsibilities of the WHO while making humble request from Trump to continue funding until the investigations are over.
