Specialist Spinner Coach to Sri Lanka

Tom Moodi will join Sri Lanka Cricket as the Special Coach for local Cricket Coaches and Wenkataramana is to join as the Spinner Coach. Tom moodi was serving Sri Lanka Cricket as the Coach who drove the national team to the great victory at World Cup in 1994. Wenkarataramana was serving as chief Coach of Singaporian National team.

Wenkataramana was a talented bowler who could get 247 wickets and served Bangalore Indian National Cricket Academy which produced a number of talented spinners. He will serve Sri Lanka Cricket for a very brief period of two weeks with possible extensions if effective.

Ton Moodi will be giving the modern Cricket technology to Sri Lankan Coaches for two weeks at a stretch who is willing to continue this training for four to five occasions in a year. Tom Moodi had played for Australian National team from 1989 at seven Test matches and seventy six one day internationals.

Both of them will be attached to Keththarama Cricket Academy.
