243 Army personal to serve UN Peace Keeping Mission

243 Army personal left Bandaranayke International Airport today ( 13) morning to Mali to serve the UN Peace keeping mission in this country.
20 military personal are from Wijayaba , Medical and Engineering Regimes and the rest are from other ranks.
United Nations had deployed a special flight to move them to the Kingdom of Mali which tool off at 3.20 a.m. from BIA on 13th November and a group of Senior Military Rankers including the Army Commander Lt. General Shavendra De Silva for best wishes.
