Fire in Sri Lanka Cricket..?

Tuesday (02) there was a special meeting held at Sri Lanka Cricket between the members of the Technical Committee , Mahela Jayawardena and Selection Committee along with the President of Sri Lanka Cricket and his representatives. This meeting had been summoned by President of the Technical Committee, Sanath Jayasuriya.

At the beginning of the meeting the Technical Committee Members questioned Mahela Jayawardena as to what his plans on the qualifying rounds of the World Cup after which there was a huge argument emerged at the meeting. The cause of the argument was the World Cup and the solutions to be taken. There was no agreement for any of the solutions that came up at the meeting since no one listened to another.  If there is no agreement between the key committees associated with Sri Lanka Cricket,  as a country can we  keep hopes of winning the game

Everyone was trying to show their strengths instead of working as a team. While Sanath Jayasuriya, Charith Senanayake and Perveese maharoof represented the Technical Committee Asantha De Mel and Kapila Wijegunawardena did not participate at the meeting. Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe appointed the Technical Committee to find solutions for the National Team. Hence the Sports Minister has to rethink about his decision of appointing a committee. Moreover the gap between the Sri Lanka Cricket Management and the Technical Committee is as wide as the sky and the earth.

There was no agreement between Sanath Jayasuriya and Mahela Jayawardena at all who didn't seem to listen either to the Minister or the management. Mahela was questioning Sanath Jayasuriya about his SIM issue with the International Cricket Committee which paved the way for another hot argument.
