Meanwhile, former Prime Minister and UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe has instructed the party's legal division to provide all necessary legal assistance, instructions, and legal aid to former Finance Minister and former UNP Deputy leader Ravi Karunanayake and this issue should be dealt with as a Political Party.
Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe, who has held lengthy discussions with senior UNP leaders including Navin Dissanayake, Arjuna Ranatunga and Lakshman Wijemanne on how to deal with this issue and what action to take in the future, has also instructed them.
